Malawi police has expressed concern over the allegations that are made about street kids popularly known as Namasikini in the city of Blantyre Speaking to Television Islam presenter Yassin Limu on Mwaweluka bwanji program, Blantyre police public relations officer, Sub Inspector Peter Mchiza said that these accusations are mostly made by high profile people. According to the officer, these men upon reaching drinking places, they find a sex worker to satisfy their sexual desire. For fear of being seen in lodges they opt to do sex in the cars where they are attacked. He further adds that upon reaching their homes they dont explain to their wives exactly what had happened, instead they said that they have been attacked by Namasikini (street kids) while slowing down the car at a hump.
